Power Acoustik BAMF2000/1D Review by Scott Barnes
I have been very pleased with this amp! I don't really know what the actual wattage is. But I don't really care. I was building a budget system, and this was the best amp for me. I have it pushing 2x Kenwood Kenwood KFCW3013 / KFCW3013PS / KFCW3013PS 12 Car Subwoofer 12" subwoofers wired at 2ohms. Even though they are in a tiny, 0.75 cube/sub box, they hit HARD. The amp barely even gets warm after bumping for 30-45 minutes. The build quality feels very sturdy. I'm pleased with the amp. Never had a Power Acoustik product before, but they have me as a customer!

at first i thought this amp was weak. but i found out my rca sub out put was only 2 volts. which is pretty low. you need atleast 7 volts to get the most out of your amps. with 2 volt rca you will have to turn the gain to max. with higher preout voltage the gain only needs to be turned up half way tops. thus your amp runs cooler and more efficent. you get more volts by using a "line driver" it basically boosts the rca signal from your deck. it was pretty good with the 2 volt sig. with the line driver now its OUTSTANDING. now i know why some people may think some amps dont have the power that it claims when in reality it really does. you just need to know what youre doing when it comes to car audio. dont just assume something is junk when you havent even tried to find out how to make it better. theres always a solution to a car audio problem.

Very solid, well built. Need 4 gauge wire to run my dual 12" Kicker Comp CVR's in the kicker box. 8 gauge wire keeps shorting out. Barely gets hot in a relatively enclosed space.
