This is a beautiful lamp. I saw it in store and had it ordered and shipped to my apartment. Upon opening the box, the Styrofoam exploded everywhere. I don't recommend opening in the house. When I screwed the pole into the base, the hole seemed to be stripped. The pole is wobbly and barely stays in place. The top part where the lamp is does not even fit in the hole on top of the pole. HORRIBLY made and I am severely disappointed for the price that I paid. Will be returning.

This lamp looks very nice but it is a little wobbly. The metal is a nice heavy guage but the conection at the base doesn't seem very secure.

It can be pretty difficult to purchase houseware items online, so I was pleasantly surprised when this lamp arrived. It was easy to assemble and the fit was tight. While it could have been about 10% bigger for the space it occupies, it will definitely work for now. I have no trouble recommending this lamp.
