I love these tea tongs. They are great for grabbing a tea bag out of a tea cup or pot, and they do a fine job of squeezing the liquid out of the bag. I am a regular tea drinker and not a coffee drinker. I feel lost when I am not at home and have to make tea without them! I am buying another pair as a gift for a tea-drinking friend.

the metal on this squeezer is a bit on the flimsy side. that means when you go to squeeze the tea bag there is flex where the "arms" meet the discs that squeeze the bag.
all in all its not bad, and for the price im not complaining. ill use this one till it breaks or something, but if i had been able to pick it up and try it out before purchasing i may have avoided it.

I got these and also the Stainless Steel Tea Bag Squeezer 3035 after I had somehow lost my old tea bag squeezers which I had bought from Crate & Barrel several years ago and which looked similar to these RSVP Italian Espress Round Tea Tongs. I am only mentioning this because each of these squeezers features a slightly different design and of these three I like the ones reviewed here the least.
The reason is twofold:
On these tongs both squeezing surfaces have holes which lets more tea through but on the other hand this design offers less surface to press the bags against than if one were solid (as in the RSVP model). In combination with the somewhat "soft" pressure that is exerted when squeezing and the slightly bowl-shaped design (one side is smaller and does not fit perfectly into the larger side when squeezing), one has to press more often to get every drop of tea out than with the other two models. While the square model (Stainless Steel Tea Bag Squeezer 3035) also has two sides with holes, the tongs themselves are much more rigid and are parallel to each other and therefore can apply more pressure than these here. It might also be an issue with the length - the square ones are shorter, they measure only 5 1/4" vs. the 6.5" for this model. Consequently the leverage on the longer model just isn't as good.
If I bought yet another pair, I would definitely favor the squeezer with the shorter handles and the square squeezing surface.
